The Ottos are a multi-skilled collective of musicians performing genres from classical, jazz, folk, contemporary and funk. As a band, The Ottos have entertained the runners of The Bridge to Brisbane in 2021, wedding and other private functions and the weekend shoppers of Merthyr Village. Orchestrated by the versatile Ella Jaz Macrokanis who has entertained audiences from local pubs to The Old Museum, Brisbane Jazz Club and nationally broadcasted spectaculars at BCEC.

Onstage, Ella has performed sold out productions including Oscar Production Company’s, Killer Queens (2019 & 2021), Passion Production’s Matilda nominated Daddy Long Legs (2019), and collaborated on Queensland Cabaret Festival’s It Takes a Lot Not to End Up Dead and Yours Sincerely, Banana Brain and Stop the Clocks with Lizzie Flynn (2018-2022). Recently, she was in Ipswich Civic Centre’s Sound of Music and is soon to be performing at The Triffid in JD Production’s Get The Party Started: The Music of P!nk on July 7th.

Ella can also be found onscreen as as Maddie Gallagher on the International Emmy Award winning SBS Mini Series, Safe Harbour (2018). Other screen credits include the MIFF independent feature film The Butterfly Tree and SBS Family Law (Season 3).
