Ella Jaz Macrokanis has entertained audiences ranging from local pubs in South Brisbane to nationally broadcasted stage spectaculars. Most commonly know for her role as Maddie Gallagher in the International Emmy Award Winning SBS Mini TV Series, Safe Harbour (2018). Other screen credits including Priscilla Cameron’s The Butterfly Tree and SBS Family Law (Season 3).

In 2020, Ella received a Matilda nomination for her role as Jerusha Abbott in the Australian Premiere of Daddy Long Legs. (Brisbane Powerhouse) Not only receiving 5 star reviews and nightly standing ovations, the production also acquired a Matilda nomination for Best Musical as well.

 

Recently, Ella has performed exceptionally in Oscar Production’s Killer Queens at The Brisbane Powerhouse for MELT Festival and It Takes A Lot Not To End Up Dead for Anywhere Theatre. 

 

Soon to extend her contracts with Killer Queens, she is set to perform at HOTA for BLEACH Festival and It Takes A Lot Not To End Up Dead at The Centre, Beaudesert.
